AquaPrime® NeoKlor is a 7.5% Chlorine Dioxide precursor for microbial control in drinking water and waste water. This 7.5% sodium chlorite can be generated into a 5% aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide through the addition of an acid solution like our AquaPrime Activator. As an alternative to bleach, chlorine dioxide provides 3x the oxidative power, is more stable in the presence of contaminants and temperature variations and has a longer duration of activity than bleach. It is recommended for use in potable water and wastewater disinfection, food processing plants, dairies, bottling plants, and breweries, disinfection of CIP systems, and general industrial process water treatment, including, oilfield injection water, white water paper mill systems, and recirculating cooling towers.
